SEHIS registration procedure
Login to sehis.jharkhand.gov.in with employee credentials
Fill personal details, family members, and upload documents
DDO / Approval authority verifies and approves application
Health card generated and downloadable from portal
Premium (if applicable, Category B) deducted from salary/pension
Pre-auth & cashless treatment
Patient admitted to empanelled/network hospital
Show SEHIS Health Card at the TPA/insurance desk
Hospital submits pre-authorisation request to insurer
Approval received (2–4 hrs planned; instant emergency)
Treatment proceeds; discharge settled by TPA directly
Post-treatment claim submission
Collect all original bills, discharge summary, prescriptions
Fill SEHIS reimbursement claim form (download from portal)
Submit to DDO / HR Benefits desk with complete documents
TPA reviews claim within 21 working days
Amount credited to registered bank account
Special circumstance transport
Emergency admission — cashless triggered automatically
Notify SEHIS helpline 1800-3455-027 within 24 hours
Air ambulance covered under special provisions
Submit all transport bills along with claim documents
Approval as per Sankalp dated 24-01-2025 provisions
Adding family members to policy
Login to SEHIS portal → My Profile → Add Beneficiary
Enter family member details and upload Aadhaar/proof
DDO verifies relationship and approves
Beneficiary added to health card within 3 working days
Disabled dependents eligible for lifetime coverage
Complaint & escalation process
Raise ticket via SEHIS portal or call 1800-3455-027
District coordinator handles within 3 working days
Escalate to JSAS if unresolved (Jharkhand State Arogya Society)
JSAS Executive Director reviews within 7 days
Resolution communicated via email/SMS
